  • The district line in your yard is yours

    Since January 2023, the Greater Wenatchee Irrigation District no longer repairs irrigation lines in residents' yards within its local improvement districts: landowners maintain their own lines, while water delivery continues. When a line in your yard breaks, finding and fixing the leak is work we do.

  • Backflow tested every year

    A sprinkler system connected to domestic water needs backflow protection. Washington's cross-connection rule requires the backflow assemblies that protect public water systems to be tested by a certified tester when installed and every year after.
